How compatibility works
How the calculation is made
The calculator first builds a complete Matrix for each person using the same deterministic reduction rules as the personal chart. It then combines corresponding positions and reduces every result to the 1-22 arcanum range.
The same pair of dates always produces the same combined numbers. Names, birth times, and birth locations are not required.

First person’s center
Day 17 + month 5 + year sum 19 + bottom 5 = 46. After digit reduction, the center is 10.
Second person’s center
Day 5 + month 9 + year sum 21 + bottom 8 = 43. After digit reduction, the center is 7.
Your combined center
Add the two center numbers: 10 + 7 = 17. This is already between 1 and 22, so no further reduction is needed.
The combined center is a starting point for exploring the pair’s shared dynamic. It is not a percentage or a measure of whether the relationship will last. Read its symbolic interpretation alongside the other chart positions.
When a combined number exceeds 22, we add its digits until it falls within 1–22. Other tools may use a different reduction rule or compare individual charts instead of combining corresponding positions. That can explain differences between results.

How does Destiny Matrix compatibility work?
The calculator creates a Matrix from each birth date and combines corresponding positions into a relationship Matrix interpreted across connection, love, money, purpose, family patterns, and growth.
Do I need both birth times?
No. Compatibility uses the two birth dates. Birth time, birthplace, names, and astrology coordinates are not required.
Does a low result mean we should separate?
No. This is not a pass-or-fail test. Challenging combinations can point to topics that need communication, boundaries, patience, or shared effort.
Can I calculate friendship or family compatibility?
Yes. The combined chart can also be used as a reflective tool for friends, relatives, and other close partnerships.
How private is my result link?
Result links contain both birth dates. We mark results noindex and exclude them from the public sitemap, but this does not make a link private: someone with the link can open the basic chart. Avoid sharing your result URL publicly. Full readings require verified access.
