This calculator builds a Destiny Matrix by adding birth-date values in a fixed order and digit-summing totals above 22. The table below documents every distinct numeric calculation for its personal chart circles and purpose summaries. It also identifies the fields that reuse an existing position. These are this site’s rules, not a claim that all Destiny Matrix schools agree.
The chart-reading tutorial explains how to interpret positions. This reference answers a different question: which earlier values produce a specific number, and at what stage does reduction happen? Both examples are invented dates, not customer records.
Reduce totals above 22; keep 22
In this method, 23 becomes 2 + 3 = 5, 29 becomes 2 + 9 = 11, and 44 becomes 4 + 4 = 8. A value already between 1 and 22 stays as it is. Subtracting 22 or reducing everything to 1–9 produces a different system.
Use the reduced value at the next step. For 25 November 2002, the day is 7, the month is 11, and the year sum is 4. The bottom is 7 + 11 + 4 = 22; the center is 7 + 11 + 4 + 22 = 44 → 8. Reducing that bottom to 4 would change every later formula that uses it.
Grouping matters too. Do not replace reduce(reduce(a + b) + c) with reduce(a + b + c) without checking equivalence. For the second illustrative date, 14 July 1991, the innermost left circle uses K_near = 14 + 10 = 24 → 6, followed by K_near + E = 6 + 10 = 16. Adding 14 + 10 + 10 all at once gives 34 → 7 instead. The reference uses stored intermediate results, not an unreduced algebraic shortcut.

Choose an illustrative date and one position. The result uses our shared chart engine; no AI interpretation is needed to check the arithmetic.
Heart Arcana: 18
Inputs: M_near + loveFuture
3 + 15 → 18
Reduce each step before using it in the next formula. Values from 1 to 22 stay unchanged.
Personal-chart formulas in calculation order
All results here are for 25 November 2002. A is left, B top, C right, D bottom, and E center. F/I are the upper-left/upper-right corners; G/H are lower-left/lower-right. “Near” means nearer the center than “far” within the corresponding pair. An innermost circle may sit closer to the center than either.

Some names reuse the same circle
A list of fields can look like more independent evidence than the chart actually contains. These sequences reuse calculated positions:
- Karmic tail: M_near → M_far → D. These are also called karmicPast, karmicPresent and karmicFuture in our data.
- Love Line: M_near → heart → loveFuture. The middle value is both heart and loveDesire.
- Money Line: loveFuture → moneyTalent → L_near. The first value is also moneyEntry; the last is moneyExit.
- Male generation summary: F → H → maleDiagonal. The third number summarizes the endpoints; it is not the center circle.
- Female generation summary: I → G → femaleDiagonal. Again, the last value is a summary rather than the center.
For this example, the Love Line ends at 15 and the Money Line starts at 15. That is one shared crossover, not two separately calculated observations. The three-number program guide explains how to record positions and direction before reading a code.
Chakra rows, ages and combined charts use additional rules
The chakra-table guide maps each Physics and Energy column to its actual chart positions and derives Emotions from their reduced sum. A row named Anahata does not automatically equal the Heart Arcana on the relationship line.
The age timeline subdivides the perimeter between decade anchors. Its whole-year lookup is separate from the visual fractional-age labels. It uses age as an extra input; the birth-date matrix itself stays fixed.
A compatibility chart combines corresponding values from two completed personal charts. The personal-chart table above must not be used to rebuild its center from its combined outer anchors. In our implementation, the compatibility center is reduce(person A center + person B center). Purpose summaries then follow the compatibility-specific grouping documented in that guide.
A three-pass check for a disputed number
- Find the first differing input. Compare the written date, then A, B and C. A day/month reversal can leave some summaries unchanged while moving other positions.
- Trace only the required dependencies. For a Heart Arcana discrepancy, check D and E, then M_near and L_near, then the crossover, then heart. Checking a purpose summary will not explain a different heart formula.
- Keep method differences separate from errors. If both tools follow their stated rules, different outputs may reflect different conventions. If this tool disagrees with this reference for the same inputs, send the position and arithmetic to our corrections contact.
A matching calculation demonstrates reproducibility. It does not establish that a symbolic reading measures your personality or predicts events. Use the claim-audit worksheet to evaluate a specific interpretation separately.
